The Lavatube is an advanced electronic cigarette which embodies that latest technological innovations in the industry. If you are looking for maximum control at an affordable rate – the may just be the unit you have been searching for. Two things in particular set this sturdily built e-cig apart from its competitors: atomiser compatibility, and easily variable voltage. Not sure what that means in practice?
In terms of atomiser compatibility, the Lavatube comes with the standard 510-threaded connector which works with virtually all standard atomisers and cartomisers. However, it has also been designed to support it being fitted with 510-eGo adapter, allowing you to use skirted eGo-style atomisers with which a standard 510-connector isn’t compatible– offering you access to an unbeatable selection of atomisers from which to choose.

The Lavatube comes
equipped with LCD screen and voltage control buttons; the output voltage is variable at the 0.1 level from a soft 3-voltage output all the way up to a hard-hitting 6 for a truly rich and warm hit. The screen displays your chosen output level, which can also be locked by holding the two adjustment buttons down simultaneously for five seconds – ensuring that you do not change the voltage unintentionally.
The Lavatube also has a rather clever regulated output power feature.As power is drained from the battery the voltage output has a tendency to vary somewhat, which in turn would affect your vaping experience (i.e. through declining strength and warmth). This is where the regulated output comes into play, as it ensures that your output level remains exactly the same regardless of remaining battery power and fluctuations, right up until the point when the battery runs flat.
The unit is turned on by holding the power button on for five consecutive seconds.
The fact that you have to hold the button pressed down means that it will not turn on or off accidentally when you don’t want it to. Additionally, once the device is turned on you have to press the “fire” button to active the atomiser at your chosen voltage level – this additional feature ensures that even if the device should come on when you do not intend it to (in your bag or pocket, for instance) the battery drainage will be minimal.
In addition, Lavatube has several well thought-out safety and protection features each of which ensures that the device and replaceable components will last for as long as possible.
For instance, it features a short-circuit atomiser protection function: if the equipped atomiser does not have a high enough level of resistance for the selected voltage output setting, the unit automatically drops the voltage to 3.7v – thus protecting both your battery and the atomizer.
The battery is also protected through three further safety functions:
Over-discharge protection ensures that the unit is automatically turned off when the battery is empty, saving the battery from damage caused by over-draining.
Reverse battery protection means that the unit will not take any damage should you accidentally insert the battery the wrong way around – an easy mistake to make when you are craving a hit!
Battery voltage meter – by pressing the power button seven times in quick succession the unit will display the current power level of the battery, allowing you to keep precise track of how much juice you’ve got left.
On a final note, Lavatube is compatible with nearly (but not quite) all 18650 batteries – but as with any battery, it’s worth remembering that quality usually comes at a slightly higher price. A better battery will last you longer, and should be able to power the device for several days.
